If you were able to play the sound, you have everything you need. If you couldn't hear the sound, you will need to upgrade your player. If you are using Windows 95, 98, Windows NT 3.51, or NT 4.0, you can download this small standalone file that will upgrade your player to one that can play MPEG layer-3 compressed wavs (252k). If you have Windows 98, this is included with your Windows 98. HOWEVER, if you install any updates to your Media Player, the codec will be overwritten and you will need to reinstall it. You can go to the Microsoft Mediaplayer Website to download the most current version of the Media Player.
NOTE: If you install the Microsoft Media Player version 7 or above, it now comes with the codec. Versions under 7 will overwrite it and you will need to reinstall!
